Things to bring

The Algarve offers a lot of sun and pleasant temperatures year-round. In summer you usually will not need to bring more than shorts, t-shirts, bikinis, thongs, towels and a lot of sunscreen; however, a sweater can be handy in case a cooler breeze blows at night. If you want to bring your own wetsuit, we recommend a 3/2 steamer for most of the year. In midsummer there are many days when a shorty is sufficient, in winter it is a good idea to bring a 4/3 steamer.
If you arrive in Portugal on a weekend in midsummer, we recommend you to bring some cash with you as the cash dispensers might be out of money.
